The first day starts with the arrival at Paro Airport, where you will be greeted with the traditional scarf of Bhutan. After exploring Paro, you’ll have a scenic drive toward Thimphu with green hills and beautiful rivers. You’ll have your hotel room in Thimphu and also a yoga session to match up your energy with the altitude of the city. You can enjoy the night in the capital of Bhutan for the first day of the trek, and also enjoy your Bhutanese cuisine.
Day two begins with the Memorial Chorten, a stupa honoring the third king of Bhutan. Overlooking the valley is the giant Buddha Dordenma, an enormous statue that you can’t miss.
