Amarnath cave is a Hindu shrine located in Jammu and Kashmir, India. The cave is situated at an altitude of 3,888 m, about 141 km from Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, and reached through Pahalgam town and Sonamarg via Baltal.

Your itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive Srinagar - Local Sightseeing

  • Welcome to the Srinagar, the Lake City. On arrival at Srinagar Airport, being your tour of Amarnath Yatra. You will be transferred to Hotel.
  • Proceed on a city tour visiting the Shankracharya temple situated on the highest hill of Srinagar, the famous Mughal Gardens-Chashmashahi, Nishat & Shalimar.
  • These gardens were Mughal Emperors concept of Paradise and today these are popular picnic spots.
  • Also visit a handicraft shop where you can purchase local Hand Crafted items-Shawls, Jackets, Bed Covers, Paper Mache, Carpets & much more
  • In the evening leisurely stroll alongside the Dal Lake exploring the local markets. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 2 - Darshan Day

  • Early in the morning proceed to Sonamarg, arrive in Baltal and proceed for the holy Amarnath Cave by helicopter .
  • Numerous devotees flock to Amarnath for the holy Amarnath Yatra every year. The cave houses a stalagmite of Shiv Linga (12,756 ft) and is considered as a sacred site by the Hindus
  • The helicopters usually start operating at 6 AM (depending on the weather) and there will be approximately 1 hour for Darshan. Priority passes for Darshan will be provided to you.
  • After darshan, return to Baltal via helicopter and be transferred to Sonamarg Hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3 - Sonamarg to Srinagar

  • After Breakfast you will be transferred to Srinagar
  • On reaching Srinagar you will explore SPS Museum , Badamwari Garden(Almond Trees) , old city and River Jhelum
  • Night halt at hotel in Srinagar.

Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel. The standard check-in time is 1300hrs and the standard check-out time is 1200hrs

 

Cancellation

  • If Air Tickets has been booked by us 100% of the ticket amount will be deducted if the fare is non-refundable.
  • Within 60 Days prior to arrival date of the tour packages/Hotel Booking/Transportation: 25% Retention of the Tour Cost.
  • Within 15 Days prior to arrival date of the tour packages/Hotel Booking/Transportation: 50% Retention of the Tour Cost.
  • Within 7 Days prior to arrival date of the tour packages/Hotel Booking/Transportation:100% Retention of the Tour Cost.
