How can I request a Personalized offer?

Requesting a Personalized offer based on an existing experience is very easy! Simply follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the experience you want to get personalized

  2. Select the host you would like to do the tour with

  3. Click the 'Contact me' or 'Request a personalized offer' button by scrolling down the page. 

In the pop-up window you can fill in your preferred date, who you will be travelling with and what you would like to have customised.

Do you want to request a 100% personalized experience with a host you like? No problem, you can also search hosts by city! Select a host of your liking from the list and follow step 2 and 3 above.

How do I make a booking on Orrog?

Orrog is a destination management company in Bhutan for travelers from around the world!

In order to book a orrog experience follow these easy steps on our website:

  • Choose your destination and search for all of the experiences,

  • Filter your search to Family Friendly, Activities, and more, 

  • Pick one of the experiences that you like,

  • Select the date, starting time, and number of persons for your booking,

  • Pick your favourite trip!

    • For requesting to personalise your booking, click on the button "Contact" Us.

  • Once you are happy with your choice, complete your reservation by clicking the "Book now" button and complete the payment. 

    • If you have a discount Coupon apply it under the "Coupon?" button before completing the payment.

When can I expect my refund?

Our refund policy was made to be transparent so your experience is as smooth as possible and gives you a fair go. However, you may have doubts as you have not received the refund in your account yet. In some cases, you might want to check if you are eligible for a refund.

If your booking was cancelled by your local host 

If your booking was cancelled by Orrog, you have been automatically issued a full refund. Keep in mind, it may take up to 10 working days from the cancelled date for the refund to reach your account, depending on the processing time between banks and regions.

If my booking request is rejected/ withdrawn/ expired before confirmation

If your booking request is rejected or not confirmed within 48 hours by the host, or when you withdraw the request before it was confirmed, you will receive a full refund. The refund process might take up to 10 working days, depending on the processing time between banks and regions.

Please note that any referral credits/ discount/ promotion codes applied to the payment will not be refunded.

Complaints

Any claim or complaint against Orrog in respect of the service must be promptly submitted, but in any event within 14 days after the reserved event has taken place. Any claim or complaint that is submitted after the 14 days period, may be rejected and the claimant shall forfeit his/her right to any (damage or cost) compensation.

If you decide to Cancel Your Confirmed Booking, here is everything there is to know about our cancellation policy:
 

Cancelling a confirmed booking

When canceling a confirmed booking it depends on the moment of cancellation if, and for what amount you will be refunded.

You will receive a full refund when canceling within 24 hours of making the booking.

You will receive a refund for the amount you paid minus the service fee when canceling more than 24 hours after making the booking and more than 60 days before the start of the booking.

When canceling less than 60 days before the booking, or if the time between the moment of booking and the start of the booking is less than 24 hours you will not receive a refund.

If an experience is canceled by the Orrog, the guest will receive a 100% refund. 

*This takes into account the starting time of the tour in the time zone of the experience.

 

Rescheduled bookings

In case your booking was rescheduled, the cancellation policy takes into account the date when the original booking was made. Therefore, whenever you cancel a booking which was rescheduled, no refunds apply.

Cancelling an unconfirmed booking

All bookings on request need to be confirmed by the host within 48 hours. If you cancel an unconfirmed booking within 48 hours, you will receive a full refund. 

 

 

How do I recover my password?

You can change your password from your Withlocals profile page!

To do so, log in to your account at Withlocals (here) and select Change Password from the drop down menu. Add your email, select I forgot my password, and you will receive a reset password link via email.

How do I delete my account?

We are sorry to hear that you wish to delete your account.

 

You can delete your account by clicking the 'account' button in the menu in the app or on the website. On the bottom of this page you will find a text block with a link to the account deletion.

 

When you delete your account you will be logged out immediately on all devices and your account will be disabled.

What happens if my Orrog cancels my reservation?

In case your host is no longer available for a confirmed booking, the first option will always be to reschedule. Your host will offer you the opportunity to choose another time or date in their calendar directly, so that you can still do the experience together!

If rescheduling is not an option, we will cancel. If another similar trip is available for the same experience at the booking time and date, we may recommend you  for the experience! That means that you will receive the same experience.

In the unfortunate case your experience is cancelled and no other host is available, you will receive a 100% refund for the amount paid. You can learn more about refunds.
